Most people think hiring a Christmas light company means someone shows up and staples a string of lights to your gutter. That is not what this is. Professional holiday lighting is a season-long service, and it comes with five parts.
Custom design. Your house is not a rectangle. Rooflines change pitch, dormers interrupt peaks, porches step down. Before anything gets hung we design a display built to your actual architecture — rooflines, peaks, gables, windows, columns, porch railings, walkways, trees, shrubs, wreaths, garland and custom pattern work.
Professional installation. Every strand is custom-fit to your home and hung on plastic clips sized to your shingles and gutters. Nothing is nailed, screwed or stapled into your fascia — ever. We install professional-grade Minleon LED product, not big-box strands that fade to three different shades of white by year two.
In-season service. Northeast Ohio weather is Northeast Ohio weather. If something stops working or gets knocked loose during the season, you call us and we come fix it. That is part of the service, not a separate visit you have to negotiate.
Removal after the season. You never have to climb up there in January. When the season ends we take everything down and leave your roofline the way we found it.
Storage between seasons. Your lights leave with us and go into climate-controlled storage, labeled to your home, until next fall. No tangled bins in the garage.
This next part is the one homeowners like most, and it is genuinely different from how most companies work. Light The Land owns the lights — you lease them for the season. You never buy a strand, never store a tote, never replace a bulb, and never end up with a garage full of equipment you did not want.
We offer year-to-year, three-year and five-year agreements. The longer agreements come with discounted rates and priority scheduling. If you ever decide not to renew, the lights simply come back to us and you are done.
Every part carries a lifetime warranty. If a bulb, strand, clip or connector fails or wears out, we replace it — the only exceptions being damage caused by pets, misuse or accidents.
Your Free Same-Day Estimate, Measured by Satellite
Here is one of the best parts. You do not have to be home, and you do not have to wait around for someone to come tap on your gutters with a tape measure.
We use satellite measurement software to measure your rooflines, peaks and lines from overhead, which means we can build an accurate estimate for your holiday lighting the same day you ask for it — no in-person visit, no waiting a week for a callback. Estimates are free and there is no obligation attached to one.
How It Works, Step by Step
1. You reach out. Fill out the quote request form, or call or text us at (216) 480-7776. Tell us your address and roughly what you have in mind.
2. We measure and send your estimate. We pull your rooflines from satellite imagery and get your free estimate back to you the same day.
3. We design your display together. Which lines of the house get lit, colour and pattern, and any accents you want included. Nothing gets scheduled until you are happy with the plan.
4. You book your date. A deposit and a signed agreement hold your spot on the calendar. Installations start around Halloween.
5. We install. Our crew custom-fits your strands, secures everything and tests the full display before we leave. You come home to a house that is ready to turn on.
6. We service it all season. Something out? Something sagging after a storm? Call us.
7. We take it down and store it. After the holidays we remove everything cleanly and take your lights back to climate-controlled storage for the year.
